I moved to Tokyo in 2019, and the atmosphere here quickly became a deep source of inspiration.
It gave me the push I needed to start my own creative journey.
I've always felt a strong urge to make things artistic pieces that combine passion, emotion, and purpose.
That’s how Chouchou San was born: a collection of pouches handmade from Japanese candy wrappers.
The idea came to me when I first noticed how incredibly beautiful and colorful some candy packaging was. Their playful designs and unique aesthetics felt too precious to throw away, so I chose to give them a second life.
Each pouch carries a cheerful, vibrant personality that reflects the joyful spirit of Japanese pop culture.

But my love for giving new life to old things didn’t stop there. I was also drawn to Obis, those elegant, traditional sashes worn with kimonos. The fabric, often luxurious and intricately detailed, tells its own story. I couldn’t let that beauty fade away.
That’s how Obi One began: a collection of handmade bags created from vintage Obis, where tradition meets modern design.
Every bag is a one of a kind piece of Japanese craftsmanship, reimagined for everyday life.
Through Chouchou San and Obi One, I celebrate the beauty of reused materials and timeless Japanese design, all while embracing a sustainable, thoughtful approach to creation.
